Financial Literacy for Your Future was founded by Natalie Klemm, a recent graduate of The Hotchkiss School and will be attending the University of Chicago as an economics major. She has experience working with students across all age groups, from early elementary through high school, including tutoring middle and elementary school students, co leading read aloud sessions, and leading writing clubs for both young adults and adults. Her interest in financial literacy began in sixth grade, when she joined an all male finance club and became interested in the field. She later held leadership roles in Hotchkiss organizations including Females for Finance and Girls Who Start, and served as an international senior editor for the Girls Who Start publication. Through this work, she became aware of the broader lack of accessible financial education and has since focused on making these topics more approachable for students. She has also designed and taught financial literacy workshops for high school students at public libraries in Connecticut, including in Waterbury and Danbury, where she developed lesson plans and taught students.
